Calibration Records Get a No-Code Path Into ERP Systems
A new integration layer synchronises calibration data with systems such as SAP and Oracle, which finally makes instrument calibration state joinable to live process data.

Fluke released CalStudio Conduit on 25 August 2026 as part of an update to its calibration management platform. It is a no-code workflow and integration layer that connects calibration data to hundreds of business applications, synchronising records across systems such as SAP and Oracle and enforcing business rules automatically. The same release adds tool crib functionality tracking shared equipment checkout history, advanced location asset management for hierarchical tracking across multiple facilities, and enhanced procedure authoring. Vineet Thuvara, chief product officer at Fluke, described calibration laboratories as entering an era where digital connectivity, automation and flexibility are essential.
The reason this belongs in a conversation about industrial IoT rather than only about metrology is that calibration status is a hidden dependency in every sensor-driven deployment, and it is almost never wired into the systems that consume the sensor's output.
Consider what that means in practice. A transmitter drifts out of tolerance. Its readings continue to arrive, look plausible, populate the dashboard and feed whatever analytics have been built on top. The trend everyone is watching is now partly an artefact of the instrument. Nothing in the data says so, because the calibration record lives in a separate system maintained by a different team on a different schedule, and the two have never been joined.
Pushing calibration due dates and results into ERP and asset systems through a connector is the mechanism that makes joining them possible. Once instrument calibration state is queryable alongside live tag data, a dashboard can be gated on whether the underlying instrument is currently in tolerance, an analytics pipeline can exclude data from an out-of-cal period, and an audit can answer the question "was this measurement traceable at the time it was taken?" without a manual search through certificates.
That last question is the one regulated industries have always had to answer and the one everybody else is increasingly being asked. It is worth designing for before somebody asks it.
